Hisar: In Haryana, a Punjabi girl got into trouble for taking a lift from an unknown man to go to Mansa. Instead of taking the 28-year-old girl to Mansa, the car riders took her to a kinnow orchard in Adampur, Hisar.
Four people first made her drink alcohol. Then I also gave her drugs. After this, they gangraped her. After this, she somehow ran away from there in a naked state.
According to the police, the 28-year-old girl lives with her aunt in Ratia, Fatehabad. She was going to meet her sister in Mansa. She went to the Mansa police and complained about this. Mansa police registered a zero FIR.
The police have registered a case against the four accused of rape: Sagar, Sher Singh, Salim Khan, and another. The police will get the girl medically examined today. The police have started efforts to arrest the accused.
She was waiting for an auto; the car asked for directions to Mansa, then gave me a lift.
In a statement given to the police at Bareta police station in Mansa district of Punjab, the 28-year-old girl from Mansa district said that she has been living with her aunt in Ratia for 2–3 months. On June 28, at around 6:30 in the evening, she was waiting for an auto to go to Mansa at the Ratia bus stand to meet her sister.
At that time, a car came and stopped near her. The youths sitting in it rolled down the window and asked her the way to Mansa. She told them the way, and when they started leaving, they asked her where she was going. When she told them that she was going to Mansa to meet her sister, they made her sit in the car, saying that they would drop her there.
When she was hesitant, they forced her to sit in the car. The victim told the police that four people were sitting in the car. They made her sit in the middle on the pretext of adjusting the seat. After this, they started taking her to some other route instead of Mansa.
The girl said that when she tried to protest, they did not listen to her and took her hostage to Adampur, and Sagar and his companions locked her in a room of the house and raped her. She kept screaming. When she protested, they threatened to kill her. She fainted due to the rape.
The next evening, they forcibly made her sit in a big car and took her to a kinnow orchard in Bhadra-Nohar, Rajasthan. After getting down there, she was first forcibly made to drink alcohol and later fed some intoxicants. Due to this, she fainted. Later, Sagar, Sher Singh, and Salim Khan also drank alcohol and ate intoxicants. After this, they raped her one by one. During this time, Sagar’s maternal grandfather was also with them at the spot, and he also raped her.
The victim further told her that the accused threatened to kill her if she complained. She somehow ran away from there in a naked state. He tried to call his aunt’s son, but his phone was not reachable. So he called his acquaintance, who lives in Bhikhi Mansa. After this, the acquaintance came with another friend and dropped him off at his aunt’s house in a car. After that, he told the whole thing to his aunt. His torn clothes were also with him. After this, she complained to the police.
