Chandigarh: The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has given a big relief to the candidates for Group-D posts. The commission has decided to extend the date of the correction portal for Group-D posts until July 10th. Now the candidates will be able to change their category until midnight on July 10th.
As per the decision of the Punjab Haryana High Court (HC), the revised result of CET Group D Stage-1 was released by the commission on July 6th, in which the merit list was prepared based on only the CET marks of the candidate without giving the benefit of socio-economic criteria marks.
After this, the correction portal was opened from July 6th to July 8th for the convenience of the candidates to change the categories. Still, some candidates were deprived of using this facility, so the commission has once again decided to extend the date until July 10th.
The spokesperson said that the candidates will be able to correct the category by logging on to the portal, https://groupdcorrection.hryssc.com, and uploading their valid documents. This portal will remain open until July 10, 2024 (11:59 p.m.); after that, the link will not be available.
