Haryana: Terrible heat continue to trouble people, temperature crosses 42 degrees

For the second consecutive day on Saturday, the day temperature rose since morning. The scorching heat made people miserable. Schools also closed at 12 noon. By 1 o’clock in the afternoon the hot wind started to prevail in the state.

In the afternoon the markets also appeared deserted and everyone was seen walking on the road with their faces and heads covered. On Saturday, the day temperature was recorded at 43.9 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 28.2 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert regarding heat wave. There is no respite from heat and hot air for the next five days.

Scientist of Meteorological Department Chandigarh Centre, Ajay Kumar Singh said that the heat will increase for five days in Haryana, Punjab and Chandigarh and will have to face heat wave.

Leave the house only when necessary between 10 am to 5 pm. Whenever you leave the house, cover your head and mouth with cotton cloth. Wear only light cotton clothes. Do not remain on an empty stomach and keep drinking water continuously. Before leaving the house, eat something or drink three to four glasses of water.

This is how heat wave recorded
If the maximum temperature of the day is above 40 degrees and this temperature is recorded four and a half degrees more than the normal temperature, then heat wave is recorded.
