Transport Minister inspects the stadium in Ambala

Ambala: Haryana Transport Minister Aseem Goyal inspected the running track and hockey ground built in the Ambala stadium. During this, he instructed the officials to fulfill the demand for astroturf from the players of Ambala as soon as possible and improve the condition of the stadium.

He also inspected the swimming pool under construction in the stadium.

Regarding this, Aseem Goyal took detailed information about the construction of the swimming pool from the officials present on the spot and instructed that the construction of the swimming pool should also be done as per international standards. So that world-class swimmers can be prepared from Ambala as well.

During this, Minister Aseem Goyal also gave instructions to rejuvenate the badminton hall in the stadium. The minister said that the badminton hall is in good condition at present. It is not suitable for the players to play. Therefore, this badminton hall should also be expanded and rejuvenated at the international level. For which a map should be prepared again after consultation with expert architects and consultants.

Goyal said that for the rejuvenation of the stadium, the officials should complete the detailed project report (DPR) and other paperwork by July 25. So that work in the stadium can be started as soon as possible.

While talking to journalists, Minister of State for Transport Aseem Goyal said that the stadium’s arrangements and the facilities available to the players have been reviewed by visiting the stadium with senior officials. There was a discussion about increasing the scope of the swimming pool under construction and making the badminton hall international-level, including the astroturf in the stadium and the rejuvenation of the entire stadium.

Minister Aseem Goyal said that after discussing with Chief Minister Naib Saini and the Sports Minister, efforts will be made to give a big gift to the players of Ambala soon. The Transport Minister informed us that he has instructed the officials to prepare a report for the rejuvenation of the stadium only after consulting the intellectual architects and consultants, especially those who build sports stadiums.
