Monsoon will pick up speed again in the state after two days. According to the weather expert, a new western disturbance will become active from July 5, due to which the monsoon turf will again move away from the state. This will increase rain activities across the state.

Weather expert Dr. Chandramohan said that due to the low-pressure area over western Rajasthan, the monsoon turf remained over Rajasthan on Thursday, the second day as well. During this time, it spread from Jaisalmer, Kota, Guna, Satna, Daltonganj, Digha towards the south-east to the east-central Bay of Bengal.

Throughout the day, scattered drizzle was recorded at some places in the state.

However, during this time there was a slight drop in day and night temperatures. The maximum temperature in Sirsa was recorded at 38.4 degrees, which was the highest in the state. At the same time, the minimum temperature in Sonipat was 25.5 degrees, which was the lowest in the state.

Orange alert for heavy rain on July 6 and 7

Now on July 5, a western disturbance will become active, due to which a low pressure area will be formed over southern Punjab and northern Rajasthan. This low pressure area will again pull the monsoon trough towards Haryana. Heavy rain will occur as the monsoon trough arrives in Haryana. These rain activities will continue till July 10. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for heavy rain on July 6 and 7.
