In Haryana10 children fall ill after eating midday meal

Karnal: The health of the children deteriorated after eating a midday meal in a government school in Karnal, Haryana. Children started vomiting shortly after eating the food. They started having stomach pain and dizziness. In a hurry, other children of the school took them to the medical store located at the village bus stand.
After this, some children went to their homes and informed them about this. As soon as the information was received, the family immediately reached the spot.
Seeing the serious condition of the children, they took them to the nearby civil hospital in Panipat. Here, due to the strike of doctors, the NHM doctors arrived half an hour late. After first aid, the doctors admitted the children to the hospital. It is being said that food poisoning has occurred.
Giving information, Debo said that she is a resident of the village of Pundri. Her granddaughter Bharti (11) also studies in the government high school of the village. She is a student in class six. In the afternoon, some children from the school came home and told me that many children, including Bharti, had fallen ill after eating Khichdi which was cooked at the school.
On hearing this, the family immediately reached the spot. The children were being given medicines from the medical store. Many children were standing there. They were vomiting. They were having stomach pain, throat pain, as well as dizziness. The children were also having difficulty breathing.
While the family members claim that the condition of more than 10 children has deteriorated. Their family members have taken them to different hospitals.
