2 brothers attacked in Palwal over land dispute

Haryana: In Haryana’s Palwal, two cousins ​​working in the fields were attacked by a dozen armed men due to a land dispute. Both the brothers were badly beaten up. After this, the attackers left them unconscious and fled with their agricultural equipment. Police have started the action by registering a case under various sections against 16 including 8 named accused.

According to Chandhat police station in-charge Dalbir Singh, Rajbir alias Raju, a resident of Chandhat village, has said in his complaint that he and his cousin Mahesh and Udayveer and Kishan etc. of the village were watering their fields on May 26. They have a land dispute with Mahendra and Ravi, residents of Rahimpur village.

Due to enmity, Mahendra and Ravi, residents of Rahimpur village and Ashok, Sonu, Monu, Subhash, Kapil, Sumit and 8-10 others, residents of Samsam Nagar of Gautam Buddha Nagar (UP) came there with four bikes and a tractor-trolley. It is alleged that the accused came to the fields armed with weapons to kill them after making a plan. As soon as they came near, Mahendra challenged them with a 315 bore rifle in his hand and fired a direct shot at him with the intention of killing him. But he escaped the bullet.

When he started running, Ravi and others attacked him with sticks and axes, when his cousin Mahesh came to save him, he was also attacked. When Udayveer and Kishan came to save them, the accused fired directly at them with a country-made pistol. Due to fear, both of them ran away from there.

After which, thinking them dead, the accused vandalized the engine, water pipe and hut installed on the field and took the agricultural equipment with them in the tractor-trolley. After which he was admitted to the hospital in an injured state for treatment, where his treatment is going on. On the complaint of the injured, the police have started action by registering a case under various sections against 16 people including eight named ones.
