Haryana: In the Hisar district of Haryana first integrated airport is about to complete, on 20th June Chief Minister Nayab Saini will inaugrate the airport. Haryana government has decided that the name of the airport as Maharaja Agrasen.
The work of constructing the runway, CAT I, ATC, GSC area, PTT, link taxi, apron, fuel room, basic speed parameter road and rainwater harvesting facility at this airport is almost complete.
On 20 June CM Nayab Saini will inaugurate the airport and lay the foundation for new projects. CM will inaugurate the ten thousand long runway at the airport, parallely other inaugurate the other projects also.
District administration has started the preparations for CM’s programme. For this meeting of district officials has been called at BJP office.
The Haryana Airport Development Corporation Chairman’s office has been ready at Hisar airport. Hisar MLA Dr Kamal Gupta is the chairman of this corporation, after this now chairman will sit at Hisar only, instead of Chandigarh. The chairman’s office has been constructed in the ATC tower, also the Airport’s CEO is in the same tower.
The Haryana government can start flights from Hisar airport before the upcoming assembly elections. Flights will be started using medium-sized aircraft. First, Hisar will be connected to 6 cities by air. After this, flights will be operated to Lucknow, Varanasi and Ambala based on the demand of the people. Flights will be operated from Hisar to Chandigarh, Delhi, Jammu, Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Kullu routes. After this, changes can be made in these routes after review.
A new railway cargo line will be laid from Hisar Airport to Raipur station. A double line will be laid till the airport. The second phase of work at Hisar airport is almost complete. Cargo ships will also land here in the future.
Transport will be needed for loading and unloading of goods.
Therefore, a dry port will be built in one part of the airport, while goods will also be transported by rail. The expansion of Hisar Airport will be completed in three phases. Currently, the work of the first and second phases has been completed. In the second phase, works like runway expansion, railway, parking and maintenance have been done.
