Indians Deportation from America Case: ED intensifies investigation, list prepared of fake agents

Jalandhar Enforcement Directorate (ED) has intensified the investigation after Indians being deported from America. Yesterday, Jalandhar ED questioned 11 people who had returned to India after being deported from America.

ED officers questioned all of them about the means of their going abroad. In the interrogation of 11 people, names of many fake travel agents have come to the fore who belong to Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh.

The main targets in the interrogation were sub-agents of fake agents.

According to the information, Punjab Police has registered cases against many travel agents in the recent past and has also arrested some. But ED is trying to get to the root of the whole matter. As soon as the fake travel agent is arrested, the people below him will start the same work.

In such a situation, the Enforcement Directorate is looking for a way to reach the accused, their sub-agents and the said fake agents. Because the fake travel agent will be arrested. But the root of the said case will still remain. In such a situation, the Enforcement Directorate is also questioning about the sub-agents at this time. So that the said link can be rooted out after investigation.

Let us tell you that a new thing has been found out in ED’s interrogation. ED has found out in its investigation that in many cases in Punjab and other states, people had reached fake travel agents through Sarpanch and Panch. In such a situation, the said link is also on the radar of the Enforcement Directorate.

ED is currently preparing the data of such Sarpanch and Panchs in the case. After which action will be initiated in the case. Along with this, investigation is being done on many other aspects including how the money transactions took place in the case.
