Jhajjar Health Department team has busted a sex determination gang in Ghaziabad’s Loni. Fetal sex determination was being done by illegally installing an ultrasound machine in a Maruti car. The department conducted a raid and seized the unauthorized ultrasound machine and detained the gang members.
The Health Department had received information that some people were illegally conducting sex determination through a mobile van. The team raided the spot and recovered the illegal machine and related documents from the spot.
The Health Department has taken this action under the PCPNDT Act. Officials said that fetal sex determination is a legal offense and strict action will be taken against it.

Health Department officials said that interrogation of the gang members is going on and other people associated with this network are also being searched. Strict action will be taken in this matter soon.
