Job fraud in Sirsa: Youths duped of over Rs 1 lakh on pretext of getting job

Sirsa: A case of cheating of two youths of Goriwala and Risaliya Kheda villages of Rs 1 lakh 18 thousand has come to light in Sirsa. The two youths were cheated on pretext of getting them a job in Haryana Kaushal Rojgar Nigam (HKRN). Based on the investigation report of DSP Dabwali, the police have registered a case of cheating against Krishna, a resident of village Risaliya Kheda, and Naveen, a resident of Banwala (who lives in Hisar).

Dinesh, resident of village Goriwala and Bhupendra Singh, resident of village Risaliya Kheda had complained with the police. The DSP investigated the matter. It was revealed that Bhupendra is 12th pass. Krishna Kumar of village Risaliya Kheda had demanded Rs 1 lakh from him, assuring him of getting him a job.

He had transferred Rs 84 thousand to the account of Naveen, resident of Banwala. Dinesh had asked him for Rs 34 thousand 700. The amount was transferred to Naveen’s account on 23 December.

In their statement to the investigating officer, Bhupendra and Dinesh said that Naveen used to call himself an officer in the registration office of HKRN. The accused used to say that if they could not get them a job, they would return 1.5 times the amount. But they neither got the job nor was the original amount returned to them. Both the accused grabbed the said amount in the name of security. The police have registered a case and started investigation.
