Last day of campaigning for Gurugram corporation elections

Gurugram: Today is the last day for campaigning for the urban body elections in Gurugram. Top leaders including BJP and Congress candidates have put in their full strength in the campaign. In Gurugram, Congress MP Deepender Hooda held a rally in support of mayor candidate Seema Pahuja. He fiercely targeted the state government. He said that for 11 years there was a triple engine in Gurugram, so what work did it do. He quipped that one engine loots, two engines provide protection. It is the engine of arbitrariness, corruption leads to loot. If there is loot in the Municipal Corporation, then there will be no investigation by the state government. Scams worth crores are happening in all the corporations.

The noise of campaigning will end at 5 pm today. After that, candidates can hold their personal meetings and cannot seek votes by holding public meetings, rallies or going door to door. Now the public will give its verdict in the voting on March 2.
