All India Congress Committee General Secretary, Sirsa MP Kumari Selja has accused the BJP government of the Centre and Haryana and said that for the last more than ten years, there is a BJP government in the Centre and the state, the state government should tell what it has brought from the Central government in this period and which big project has the Centre given to Haryana, neither did the double engine government get anything nor is there any possibility of getting anything now. Kumari Selja said that the law and order in the state has collapsed, in such a situation women, children, especially girls need to be more cautious.
In a statement issued to the media, Kumari Selja said that during the tenure of ten years, the BJP remained completely indifferent towards farmers and labourers, it kept talking about farmers and labourers but did nothing. First the government says that register the crop details on the portal Meri Fasal Mera Byora, if the crop gets damaged then register it on the portal and then it is said that the government itself will assess the loss, in such a situation the farmer keeps playing with the portal while the government does nothing because it has neither the intention nor the thinking to give anything to the farmers, this is the reason why the farmers have not yet received compensation for the crops damaged last year. It cannot be said when the compensation for the crop destroyed by hailstorm will be received this time.
Kumari Selja said that the law and order in the state has collapsed, the criminals have no fear at all and are committing crimes fearlessly. Women, children, especially girls are not safe, in such a situation they especially girls need to be alert. From the land of Haryana, BJP had given the slogan of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao which has remained only a slogan today, neither attention is being paid to the education of daughters nor to the safety of daughters.
Kumari Selja said that Avadh mining is increasing like a festering wound, the police pats its own back by catching one or two dumpers while crime is increasing rapidly, without protection the mining mafia cannot do anything, whenever mining happens it happens with connivance. There should be fear of law and order among criminals so that criminals think a thousand times before committing a crime. The public is bearing the brunt of the negligence of the police administration and the government. The government will have to first set its own house in order.
