Panchkula : The central agency had raided a total of 13 premises belonging to Chikoo and some other persons in Haryana and Rajasthan on December 5 last year. Apart from being a gangster, Chiku is also said to be a close associate of Bishnoi and Khalistani terrorist groups.
The ED alleged that Surendra alias Cheeku has direct links with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and Khalistani terrorist groups and invested the “proceeds of crime” generated from mining, liquor and toll businesses through his associates. It claimed that Cheeku invested his illegally acquired money through two companies and its directors, who were his associates.
The agency has identified the two associates as Satish Kumar and Vikas Kumar, directors of a company named MDR Enterprises Private Limited. The company was founded on October 12, 2020 and is involved in mining and quarrying. The ED said both the men were also directors of another company named Nimawat Granites Pvt Ltd from August 21, 2019 to November 15, 2021 and this entity was incorporated on July 5, 2012.
