A person was shot dead in Barwa village under Rozkamev police station area of Nuh district of Haryana. After the murder, there is an atmosphere of tension between the two parties in the village. After getting the information, the police reached the spot and took the body in their custody and kept it in the mortuary of Nalhar Medical College for postmortem. A heavy police force has also been deployed in the village. The dispute between the two parties was going on for four days.
For information, in Barwa village, the other party had a fight with the family of Mehboob (56) over some issue. They were also beaten up. A complaint was given to the Rozkamev police. But no action was taken. Later the matter reached the Panchayat and a settlement was reached. The accused had a grudge for the same matter.
Fired from the roof of the house
The family members said that after Roza Iftar, Mehboob had gone to the mosque built outside the village population at around 5:30 pm to offer Namaz. When he was returning home at around 8 o’clock after offering namaz from the mosque, the accused climbed on the roof of their house and shot Mehboob.
Villagers came out of their houses on hearing the bullet sound
On hearing the bullet sound, the villagers gathered at the spot and took Mehboob to the hospital. Where the doctors declared Mehboob dead. It is being told that Mehboob was shot in the neck. Due to which he died on the spot. The family members said that they have not yet lodged a complaint with the police. The process of filing a complaint is going on.
