Massive fire in Hansi, Father and daughter burnt, truck driver wake up the sleeping people

Haryana: On Saturday early morning massive fire broke out in the slums in front of Model Town. The fire engulfed 10-12 slums built here in a short time. Due to the fire in the slums, there was a stampede among the sleeping people. A three-year-old girl and her father were badly burnt in the accident. Both father and daughter were admitted to the Civil Hospital for treatment, from where they were referred to Agroha Medical College. In the incident of arson, all the goods kept in the slums were burnt to ashes. After the information of fire in the slums, five fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and after about three hours of hard work, the fire was controlled.

According to the information, slums are built near the telephone exchange in front of Model Town in Hansi. The huts caught fire on Saturday early morning. When the fire broke out, all the people were sleeping in their slums at that time. When a truck driver passing by saw the fire in the hut, he woke up the people sleeping in the huts. But by then the fire had spread to 10-12 huts. All the goods kept in the huts started burning. The fire brigade was informed about the fire. Due to the fire in the huts, three-year-old girl Lakshmi and her father Mahendra got badly burnt. Five fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and controlled the fire.

In the incident of arson in the huts, a goat, a goat and a dog tied outside the hut were burnt alive, while two e-rickshaws standing in the middle of the huts and the goods kept in the huts also burnt to ashes. Despite that, no one took care of their food and drink. When their children started crying due to hunger, they were forced to come on the road and blocked it. On the other hand, on receiving information about the jam on the highway, the police personnel posted at Kali Devi police post reached the spot and got the jam cleared by assuring help from the administration.

During the jam that lasted for about half an hour, long lines of vehicles were formed on both sides of the highway.
