Supreme Court to hear tomorrow on opening of Shambhu border

Chandigarh: The matter of the closure of the Shambhu border between Haryana and Punjab will be raised in the Supreme Court on Monday, July 22. Advocate Vasu Ranjan Shandilya said that due to the closure of the border, small and big traders, street vendors, and other poor people in Ambala are suffering losses. He will raise their voice in the Supreme Court on July 22.

In the case of opening the Shambhu border, petitioner Advocate Vasu Ranjan Shandilya said that the Haryana government has challenged the High Court’s order to open the border and will oppose it. Because the common people are facing huge difficulties due to the closure of the Shambhu border. Advocate Shandilya said that he will also show the Supreme Court the photo and video footage of the problems being faced due to the closure of the Shambhu border.

Shandilya said that the division bench of Justice Suryakant and Justice Ujal Bhuyan will hear this case on July 22 in the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court has also reprimanded the Haryana government for closing the border. He said that he would demand a division bench of the Supreme Court to order the opening of the Shambhu border in the public interest.

Vasu Ranjan Shandilya said that during the debate, he would also demand strict guidelines against those who block the national highway. He said that he hopes that the Supreme Court will put its stamp on the High Court order challenged by the Haryana government and order the opening of the Shambhu border.
