Hisar: Gaurav, a 29-year-old youth living in the Railway Colony of Hisar city of Haryana, committed suicide by hanging himself on Wednesday night. On receiving information about the case, the police reached and took the body into custody and got it post-mortem done. The police recorded the statements of the family members on Thursday. Gaurav was mentally disturbed.
In the statement given to the police, Rajendra said that his son Gaurav’s wife had left him some time ago and went to her maternal home. Since then, he has been mentally disturbed and started consuming drugs.
Gaurav’s mother had gone to Sirsa to meet the elder son Saurabh on Wednesday. Gaurav was alone at home. At night, he committed suicide by hanging himself from the fan using a bedsheet.
No one was at home at that time. It was discovered when the family members reached at 12:30 late night. After which the police were informed about the case. On Thursday, the HTM police station got the post-mortem done and handed over the body to the family.
