Punjab police arrested 3 agents, 20 criminal sent to abroad by making forged visas

Punjab: Mohali’s Special Operations Command force has arrested three immigration agents, who allegedly involved in creating fake visas, forged identity cards of gangsters and criminal, in extortion cases and sending them abroad from India.

Police has identified them as Jagjeet Singh, Mohammad Shazeb and Mohammad Kaif. These three accused resident of Ranjit Singh Flyover, Delhi.

State operational Cell has registered the case against all three under section 467, 468, 471, 120B IPC and Passport Act 12 1967.

These accuses sent twenty people to abroad form India. All three were under the team of AOC-DSP Gurucharan Singh. In the investigation it came that they had sent approximately 20 criminals to the abroad.

Criminal who lodged in jail, whenever the criminal come on Parole or on Bail, at that time these 3 accused create fake identity and visa. They contact these arrested accused, after which they make fake identity cards, passports and visas and send them to European countries like Poland and Portugal through Bangladesh.



SOC investigation revealed that the accused were using a covert route through Bangladesh for trafficking of persons to European countries like Poland and Portugal. Soon the police team along with the arrested accused will also go to the place through which the criminals were taken. Inquiries are also being made as to who supported the accused in sending the criminals abroad. Regarding this, the police is interrogating the arrested accused as to what are the names of the people whom they had sent till now through this route and where are they from. Till now, the accused have sent about 20 criminals abroad on the basis of forged documents.
