Robbery in Sirsa: Doctor wife held hostage, 15 lac cash and gold stolen after hospital entry

Sirsa: On Monday, miscreants robbed Jindal Hospital, located in Sirsa, Haryana. The miscreants first took the doctor’s wife and compounder hostage in the house above the hospital and demanded a 50 lakh ransom. After this, they fled from the house with 15 lakh rupees in cash and 15 tons of gold jewellery.

On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and started an investigation. CCTV of the miscreants has also surfaced. In which the miscreants are seen standing outside the hospital before the incident. At present, the police are engaged in searching for them.

According to the police, four youths riding bikes came to Jindal Hospital located in Dabwali, Sirsa, on Monday morning at around 9 a.m. on the pretext of taking medicine. They asked Ajay, a staff member sitting at the reception, to give them medicine. The staff said that the doctor had not come yet, so we had to wait. After this, the youths said that it was very hot and they wanted cold water.

Ajay said that there was no cold water. On this, the youths said that you just brought us ice. After this, Ajay went to Dr. Vicky Jindal’s house above the hospital to get ice. Ajay asked for ice from the doctor’s wife, Renu Jindal. Meanwhile, the four youths followed compounder Ajay upstairs.
They put a revolver on Renu’s temple and demanded a ransom of Rs 50 lakh. They threatened to kill the son if the ransom was not paid. On this, Renu told the miscreants that she would bring whatever cash and gold were in the house. After this, the miscreants locked Renu and Ajay in a room and locked it. The miscreants kept searching the house for about an hour. After this, the miscreants fled from there.

After the miscreants left, Ajay and Renu came out through the window and informed Dr Vicky Jindal about the incident. After this, the police were immediately informed about the incident.

 

Renu Jindal said that when she searched the house, 15 lakh cash and about 12 to 15 tons of gold jewellery were found missing. While carrying out the incident, the miscreants were opening a box. She told the miscreants that this donation amount had been collected for the mother. On this, the miscreants said that we would spend it ourselves.

Dabwali DSP Kishori Lal said that the police reached the spot immediately after the incident. Right now, the investigation is being done thoroughly from every angle. A case will be registered based on the statements of the victim, Renu Jindal. Different teams have been formed, and the arrest of the accused has intensified. It is expected that the police will be able to trace this incident soon. Some input has been received, and an investigation is going on.
