All government and private schools in Haryana will open at 8 am from Monday. Different timings have been set for single-shift and double-shift schools.
According to the orders issued by the Education Department, the timing of single-shift schools will be from 8 am to 2:30 pm. In double-shift schools, classes will be held from 7 am to 12:30 pm in the first shift. All double-shift schools will open from 12:45 pm to 6:15 pm in the second shift.
At present, classes are being held in single-shift schools from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm. Similarly, in double-shift schools, classes are being held from 7:55 am to 12:30 pm in the first shift and from 12:40 pm to 5:15 pm in the second shift.
On the other hand, the years-long wait for reimbursement amounts for private schools providing free education to poor children under Rule 134-A in Haryana is now over. The state government has released Rs 38 crore 62 lakh for 1555 private schools teaching children from second to eighth standard from the year 2017 to 2022. The schools will soon receive this reimbursement amount.
