Voter card registration in Nuh: August 2-16

Nuh: New votes will be made in Nuh district of Haryana from 2 August to 16 August. The draft of the voter list will be published on 2 August. BLOs will be present at the polling stations on special dates on 3 and 4 August and 10 and 11 August.

The DC appealed to the people to get the votes of the new members of their families and fill out the form to remove any errors. So that names can be added to the voter list.

District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Dhirendra Khadgata said that as per the instructions of the Election Commission of India, changes have been made in the special summary amendment program in the voter list. As per the guidelines of the Commission, now new votes will be made considering July 1, 2024, as the eligibility date. According to the revised schedule issued by the Election Commission, pre-revised activities will be done from 25 June to 1 August 2024. The draft voter list will be published on 2 August 2024. He informed me that after the draft publication, claims and objections can be registered from 2 to 16 August 2024. The settlement of claims and objections will be done by 26 August, and the final publication of the voter list will be done on 27 August 2024.

The DC informed that BLOs will be present at all the polling stations of the district on special dates on 3 August, 4, 10, and 11 August and will get the forms filled to create new votes and remove errors related to the voter list. He appealed to the residents of the district to get their votes registered by reaching the polling stations set up in the wards in their villages and cities on these dates. Under this program, representatives of all political parties are also requested to ask their booth-level agents to contact the BLOs on these dates, and they should be present at the polling stations. Voting is the biggest aspect of democracy. No citizen can cast his vote without his name being registered in the voter list; hence, eligible citizens must get their votes registered.
