Three killed in road accident in Rajasthan

Panipat: In Israna subdivision of Panipat district, a speeding pickup hit an auto from behind. The collision was so severe that the auto kept dragging itself for some distance and then overturned in the fields on the side.

In the accident, the passengers in the auto got stuck under the auto. Passersby did the rescue work and pulled out the passengers trapped under the auto. All were somehow sent to the nearby medical college. Where after checkup, the doctors declared one dead.

While other passengers have been admitted for treatment. The body was sent to the civil hospital and kept in the mortuary.

The driver was trying to park the auto on the side

In a complaint given to the Israna police station, Pawan told that he is a resident of Ward 11, Sanauli Road. His brother Naresh worked in a company located in Israna. On the evening of January 23, Naresh was returning home in the auto after finishing his duty.

On the way, when the auto reached Shahpur, the driver was trying to park the auto on the side of the highway. Meanwhile, a speeding pickup hit the auto from behind.

The collision was so strong that the auto kept moving on its own for some distance and then fell into the fields. After the accident, a crowd of passersby gathered at the spot. After which rescue work was started.

All the passengers were somehow quickly taken out of the auto. The passersby somehow took everyone to NC Medical College from there. Where after checkup, the doctors declared Naresh dead. While the rest of the injured have been admitted for treatment.

The deceased was the father of five children

Pawan told that his brother was Naresh (50). Who was the father of five children. Which includes three daughters and two sons. All three daughters are married. Naresh was posted as a master in the said company for about a year. He used to come and go by auto on this route daily. Five more passengers have been seriously injured in the accident.

Case registered against unknown accused

Israna police station in-charge Sub Inspector Vinod Kumar said that at present, on the basis of the complaint of the deceased’s brother, a case has been registered against the unknown accused pickup driver under section 281,106(1)BNS.

The body has been kept in the mortuary of the civil hospital. Further action is being taken.
