Panipat: The refusal of a rickshaw puller to take a ride proved costly in Panipat, Haryana. The incident occurred at 9 am on Tuesday when a disabled person was talking to a rickshaw driver about dropping him at his designated place. The rickshaw driver refused to take the ride saying the distance was too much.
The refusal angered by the rickshaw puller angered the other person so much that he tried to intimidate him by showing a pistol and asked him to drop him at the said place. Rickshaw puller again refused to change his decision following which the tension escalated at such level that the disabled person lost his temper and shot the rickshaw driver with bullets.
Hearing the sound of bullets, there was panic among the people present nearby. Within some time crowd gathered at the place where the Rickshaw puller was shot. The accused disabled person tried to run but was not able to as the people at the spot caught him and beat him severely.
People at the incident spot informed police about the incident. The police admitted both the rickshaw puller and the disabled person into the Hospital where their treatment is going on. As per police the condition of both is said serious. Police is also trying to find the details of the injured rickshaw puller.
