The roof of a house collapsed in Babail village of Panipat district of Haryana. The elderly woman, her daughter, and granddaughter lying in the room got buried under the debris due to the collapse of the roof. Hearing the sound of thud, the neighbors reached the spot. They removed the debris and took out all three from under the debris. This family is surviving on old age pension.
The elderly woman had suffered serious injuries, and was taken to the nearest hospital for treatment. Where she was discharged after first aid. The girl also suffered a head injury.
Neelam told that she has a house in Babail village. She lives in it with her 60-year-old mother Sona Devi and niece Savnya (5). On Wednesday, her mother and niece were sleeping in the room. It was around 7 am. She was cooking food herself. While cooking, she was coming and going in the room.
