Police encounter in Kurukshetra, 2 henchmen of Kaka-Rana gang arrested

Kurukshetra: In Kurukshetra, Haryana, late at night, the CIA-2 team arrested the miscreants of Kaka Rana gang after an encounter in the case of firing at the IELTS centre. They are currently undergoing treatment at LNJP hospital. Both of them have been shot in the legs. The incident took place at around 12 o’clock at night.

According to the information, CIA-2 received secret information that two suspects carrying weapons were roaming on a bike near Rava village of Shahabad. The team immediately started a search operation towards Rava village located on Barad Road. On the way, two suspicious youths were seen standing before the culvert. As soon as they saw the police, they took out their weapons and started firing.

In retaliation, the police also started cross firing, in which both of them were shot in the leg. The team controlled them and took them to Shahabad CHC and from there referred them to LNJP Hospital.

The accused were identified as Rahul Verma resident of Shiv Colony Radaur and Imran Khan alias Malik alias Taliban resident of village Sanghipur district Yamuna Nagar. Mobile and bike without SIM were recovered from both of them.

Weapons and bikes were provided for firing at the center

According to CIA-2 in-charge Mohan Lal, he had provided weapons and bikes to those who opened fire at the IELTS centre in Shahabad on April 10. The accused had also conducted a recce of the centre. He is currently undergoing treatment. He will be interrogated after being taken on remand.
