Chandigarh: A private bank employee was attacked by people in a car and bike late at night in Sector 44 of Chandigarh. When the accused’s companions tried to save him, the accused fired in the air and fled. The entire incident has been captured on camera.
The police have inspected the spot and investigated the entire matter. A case has been registered against unknown people. The police have sent an alert to all the police stations in this regard. Apart from this, the recording of the cameras installed in that area is being seen so that the accused can be caught.
The incident took place late at night near Sector 44 market. A youth named Ankush was returning from the dhaba after having food. Then the accused came in two vehicles and a car. The accused were 10–12 in number. During this, they directly attacked Ankush.
During this, Ankush’s friends beat him up. They started throwing stones at the accused. On this, the accused fired in the air to scare them. The accused are visible on the CCTV camera. But the police are trying to identify them.
