Rain and storm alert in 5 districts of Haryana today

Hisar, June 3: The weather is going to be bad in all the districts of Haryana today (3 June). The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for rain in 5 districts of the state. Whereas, there is a yellow alert for rain in 17 districts.

The districts for which the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for rain include Sirsa, Fatehabad, Hisar, Bhiwani and Charkhi Dadri. There will be heavy rain in these districts and there is also a possibility of thunderstorms at a speed of 60 kilometers per hour.

At the same time, the districts in which the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain include Panchkula, Ambala, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Karnal, Panipat, Jind, Sonipat, Rohtak, Jhajjar, Mahendragarh, Rewari, Gurugram, Faridabad, Mewat and Palwal. There will be light to moderate rain in these districts, but the winds will blow fast. After this, the weather is expected to remain clear from tomorrow.

Monsoon may arrive at the end of June

Haryana has witnessed good rainfall in the last few days. Meteorologists say that the weather will clear from Wednesday. After this, humidity will increase due to strong sunlight. Monsoon may arrive in Haryana at the end of June.

Due to good rains in pre-monsoon, there is a possibility of good rains in Haryana during monsoon as well. On the other hand, if we look at the data of last year, this time Nautapa has been much colder than last year. In the year 2024, the temperature during Nautapa had reached 49 degrees, whereas this time the temperature remained around 35 degrees due to continuous rain.

On June 2, it rained in 2 districts

According to the India Meteorological Department, there was a possibility of rain in the entire state on Monday. An alert was also issued for dust storms and rain during the day, but the weather did not deteriorate in all the districts of the state. However, winds blew in many districts like Fatehabad, Hisar, Jind etc.

At the same time, light or moderate rain was seen only in Bhiwani, Mewat and nearby districts. According to meteorologists, due to the activation of western disturbance, there was a possibility of continuous rain till June 3. Due to this, the temperature also did not rise much.
