Gurugram, June 21: A Rajasthan Roadways bus hit a car in Gurugram, Haryana on Saturday. A Delhi Police head constable died in the accident, while more than 10 passengers were injured. A 10-year-old child and a man were seriously injured.
All the injured were immediately admitted to Fortis Hospital, where their treatment is going on. There were a total of 34 passengers in the bus.
This accident happened at around 9 am on the road going from Gurugram to Jaipur. According to eyewitnesses, a car with Gurugram registration number was taking a turn at Bilaspur Chowk. At the same time, a Rajasthan Roadways bus coming from Gurugram collided with the car. As soon as the collision took place, the bus hit the divider and overturned.

Police and ambulance reached the spot and took the injured to the hospital. The collision was so severe that the front part of the car was completely damaged.
Traffic affected, police removed vehicles from the road
According to the police, in the initial investigation, high speed and driver’s negligence seems to be the cause of the accident. However, investigation is on to know the exact cause of the accident. After the accident, traffic on the road was affected for some time. Police restored traffic by removing the bus and car with the help of a crane.
The bus was going from Delhi to Sikar
This bus belongs to Sikar depot of Rajasthan, which left from Sarai Kale Khan in Delhi at 6 am. The bus was going towards Sikar via Dhaula Kuan, Gurugram. When the bus reached near the flyover at Bilaspur Chowk, the accident happened.
The injured are admitted in different hospitals
The police is not able to get any concrete information about the injured as they were rescued by passersby and admitted to different hospitals. After the accident, ambulances of private hospitals reached the spot and took the injured to different hospitals. Police teams are visiting hospitals to find out about the injured.
