Safe City Campaign: 6 miscreants receive warning, after learning lesson in Gurugram

Gurugram: Under the Safe City Campaign, the police are taking strict measures to provide a safe environment to women in Millennium City so that they do not face any kind of problem. Gurugram Police is preventing the environment from getting spoiled by catching such miscreants every day. On Monday, the police caught six miscreants from different places and taught them a lesson. As per the orders of DGP Shatrujeet Kapoor, this action was taken under the direction of Police Commissioner Vikas Arora under the Safe City Campaign being run to make women’s safety more effective.

The police team of Women Police Manesar, Gurugram, caught two miscreants, Shiv Kumar and Bablu, from near Labor Chowk IMT Manesar and took preventive action against them as per rules. The family members of the miscreant caught by the police team were called. In the presence of the family members of the miscreant, a written apology was taken from him, and he was handed over to his family after they warned him not to do any such activity in the future.

To ensure the safety of women and catch the miscreants red-handed, women police personnel are deployed in civil clothes at identified places by Gurugram Police. The women police personnel deployed in plain clothes take prompt action on the wrong activities of the miscreants, catch them red-handed, take them to the concerned police station, call their family members to the police station, and take preventive action against them as per the rules.
