Hisar: An unknown person stole the controller of the solar panel installed on the tubewell for irrigation in the farmer’s field in village Matalouda in Barwala area of Hisar district of Haryana. The police have registered a case against the unknown person on the charge of theft and started investigating the matter.
In Barwala area, farmers have installed tubewells for irrigation of crops in their fields and have installed solar panels under the government subsidy scheme. Incidents of theft of controllers of these solar panels installed on tubewells in the fields in Barwala area are increasing. Due to this farmers are getting upset and anger against the administration is increasing among the farmers.
Farmer Rajkumar son of Pohlu Ram, resident of village Matalouda, told in a complaint to Barwala police that he works as a farmer in village Matalouda. For irrigation, he had installed solar panels under the government scheme on the tubewell installed in his field. When he reached his field to irrigate, he saw that the things around the solar panel were scattered and the controller installed there was missing.
