The police have been informed about the incident.
According to the information, Arun Malik, a resident of Sector-23 in Sonipat, said that his wife Sangeeta is a teacher in school. She was going on a scooty in the morning like every day. When she was passing through the 100-feet-wide road of Sector-23, a car parked on the side suddenly started moving.
The car directly hit the scooter. Sangeeta fell on the road and got badly injured. The car driver did not stop the car even after the accident and fled from the spot.
Arun Malik said that he took out the footage of CCTV cameras installed nearby and lodged a complaint in the city police station. In the footage, a school student is seen sitting in the car. Arun suspected that the number plate on the car could be fake.
When he investigated himself, he found out that the number belonged to a bike. He has asked the police to investigate the matter seriously.
