Sonipat: A case of death of a worker working under a contractor in JBM Maruti Company located at IMT Kharkhoda in Sonipat, Haryana, has come to light after falling from the roof. The deceased was a resident of Uttar Pradesh. The FSL team has collected samples on the spot and is investigating the entire matter with the police. The police has taken the body into custody and sent it to the Civil Hospital for postmortem.
On Friday morning around 9:30, 23-year-old Suraj was doing finishing work in the Maruti plant in Kharkhoda IMT. Other workers were also working with him. During this, Suraj’s foot suddenly slipped and he fell from a height of about 20 feet and died on the spot.
Suraj was from Uttar Pradesh
The deceased Suraj was a resident of Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh and was working as a laborer in JBM Maruti through DK Company. Work was being done at a high height in the company, but this accident happened due to lack of adequate safety arrangements. Suraj was unmarried and was working under a contractor in Kharkhoda IMT.
Police is investigating the matter
After receiving the information of the incident, the police is investigating the matter and questioning the company officials. After this incident, questions are being raised on the security system of the company. At the same time, the police has informed Suraj’s family. Police will take further action on the basis of the statement of the family members. At present, the body of the deceased has been kept in the civil hospital of Kharkhoda. The postmortem of the body will be done only after the arrival of the family members.
