Panipat: In Israna, Panipat, an overspeeding vehicle hit a laborer walking on foot. In this accident, he died on the spot. He was going home after working in the factory. He is survived by children. The police have registered a case and started investigation.
The accident took place on January 11. The deceased has been identified as 32-year-old Gautam. He worked in a factory in Balana village. Gautam was going on foot in the evening after finishing his duty. A speeding unidentified vehicle coming from behind hit him at Balana turn near Naultha.
Seriously injured Gautam was immediately rushed to the Civil Hospital in Panipat by fellow laborers, where doctors declared him dead. The deceased’s father Ramesh Chandra said that Gautam has three sons who live in Manmati village of Kunjpura police station area of Karnal district.
