There was a stir in Anil Vihar of Sonipat on Saturday morning when Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials raided the residence of mining businessman Neeraj Sharma. It is being told that ED officials arrived in several vehicles and knocked directly at Neeraj Sharma’s residence.

Neeraj Sharma’s name is coming up in cases related to illegal mining and properties, for which ED has taken this action. However, it is not yet clear in which specific case ED has raided.

According to sources, ED officials are investigating the transactions and properties related to Neeraj Sharma. It is suspected that Neeraj Sharma has done mining work in many states including Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan and investigation is going on against him regarding illegal mining and black money.

It is worth noting that Neeraj Sharma has also been a former Sarpanch of village Brahmanwas and he is considered to have a good influence in the field of mining. But now after he was accused of illegal property and illegal transactions, ED’s action has created a sensation in the area.
