Theft in 2 houses in Panipat: Thieves stole cash worth 70 thousand, jewelry and household items

Thieves targeted two closed houses in two colonies under the Purana Industrial Police Station of Panipat City. The thieves stole cash, jewelry, and household items from the house. Both the families were not at home. They came to know about the theft when they returned.

They have complained about this to the police. The police have registered a case of theft on the basis of the complaint. Police have also started scanning the CCTVs of the area. In the complaint given to the Purana Industrial Police Station, Shalu said that she is a resident of Kachche Camp, Purewal Colony.

On January 14, at around 1 pm, she went to her brother’s house with her sons. She left after closing the main gate of the house. She reached home at around 10:30 am on January 15.

After coming home,  she saw that all the doors of the house were open. The lock of the main gate was also broken. The locks of the cupboard were also broken. After this, when she checked the stuff, apart from 30 thousand cash, a gold chain, a ring, and earrings were stolen from the cupboard. Apart from this, household items like 2 LEDs, 3 cylinders were also missing.

In another case complaint given to the old Industrial Police Station, Indu said that she is a resident of Diwan Nagar. She lives in a rented house. On the night of January 14, at around 8 pm, she went to her sister’s house with her children. She had kept the main gate of her house closed.

When she returned home on January 15 at around 10:30 am, she saw that the lock of the main gate of the house was broken. When she went inside the house, she saw that the locks of the rooms were also broken. The lock of the iron cupboard was also broken. When she checked the stuff, 40 thousand cash, gold earrings, chain, ring were missing from the cupboard. Apart from this, all the household items, bed, stove, sewing machine, even bicycles were stolen.
