Tractor overturns in Jind; driver killed after losing control due to stray animal

Jind: The tractor lost its balance and overturned when a stray animal came in front of it on Jind-Sonipat Greenfield National Highway. The driver died on the spot. The Pillukheda police station got the postmortem of the deceased done at Jind Civil Hospital and handed over the body to the family.

According to the information, 28-year-old Ravi of Kulan village in Tohana area of ​​Fatehabad district had gone to Noida on February 23 to sell straw in a tractor trolley. While returning from there, on Wednesday night, a stray animal suddenly came in front of the tractor near Bhambheva on Jind-Sonipat Greenfield National Highway.

Due to this, the tractor lost its balance and fell into the ditch below the highway and overturned. Ravi got trapped under it. He died due to not being able to control it for a long time. When the passing motorists saw this, they informed on dial 112. The police reached the spot and pulled Ravi out from under the tractor and took him to the civil hospital.

After this, the family members of the deceased were informed. Ravi got married six years ago and he left behind his wife and son. Police investigating officer Naresh said that he had received information through Dial 112 that a tractor was overturned on Jind NH 352 A and a man was trapped under it.

When the police reached the spot, they found a person trapped under the tractor. When he was taken to the hospital, the doctors declared him dead. After this, the family members were called and the postmortem of the deceased was done.
