Jind: A woman was killed while four other people were seriously injured in a collision between a car and a truck near village Bhairokheda National Highway No. 152–D in Jind, Haryana.
Following the accident, injured were rushed to Jind Civil Hospital. Later, seeing the serious condition of the patients, the doctors of civil hospital referred 2 patients to PGI.
The car driver and others injured in the accident belonged to same family. They all were returning from a wedding ceremony. While returning on the way, the truck moving ahead suddenly applied brakes. Due to which the car which was behind the truck collided with it. The car driver and passenger Nandlal, his wife, and both granddaughters were injured in the accident.
After the accident, nearby people already present at the spot informed the police, and injured were rushed to Jind Civil Hospital. The doctor declared the woman dead in the hospital while other 2 were referred to Rohtak PGI. Nandlal’s other niece and the car driver are undergoing treatment in the civil hospital of Jind.
On the basis of the complaint given by the victim’s car driver Sunil, the Julna police station has registered a case and started an investigation. Police is looking for the accused.
