A tragic road accident took place in Thana Israna area of Panipat district. Surendra, a resident of village Mandi, was going to village Pardhana on a motorcycle with his nephew Rahul. A speeding truck hit his motorcycle on the service road under the Israna flyover. On receiving information about the case, the police have registered a case against the driver and started investigation.
Police stopped the truck on the spot
According to the information, uncle Surendra fell away in the accident. While nephew Rahul came in front of the front wheel of the truck. Rahul suffered serious injuries. The truck driver could not escape due to the Israna police station being close to the spot. The police stopped the truck on the spot.
Injured admitted to NC College
The injured Rahul was immediately admitted to NC Medical College. His condition remains critical. On receiving information from the medical college, the police reached the spot and recorded the statements of the injured. The police have registered a case against the truck driver. The driver is being questioned by the police team.
