There was a stir in the area after the dead body of an unidentified woman was found in Barwala area of Hisar district on Monday morning. The body of the woman was found in the bushes near Hisar-Chandigarh National Highway. As soon as the information was received, the Barwala police reached the spot and took the body in possession and started an investigation. The deceased has not been identified yet.
According to the information, on Monday morning, when the passersby were passing from Barwala to village of Dhani Garan. During this, he saw body of a woman lying in the bushes adjacent to the highway. He immediately informed the local people, after which a large number of people gathered at the spot. Barwala police also reached the spot in no time.
Barwala police have taken the body in possession. In the preliminary investigation, the age of the woman is being estimated to be between 35 to 40 years. A mobile has also been recovered near the body, from which the police is trying to identify the woman.
The police have started an enquiry in the nearby areas and efforts are on to identify the deceased through mobile investigation. It is also being ascertained whether it is an accident, suicide or a case of murder.
