Narnaul: Today, the villagers reached the Mini Secretariat and raised slogans against the state government and the district administration regarding illegal mining and heavy blasting on the panchayat land of Dostpur village in Narnaul of Mahendragarh district.
They have demanded to stop heavy blasting and to get rid of illegal encroachments on the village panchayat land. Regarding this, the people met the DC and handed over a memorandum to him.
Nitin, Ajay, Vikas, Somveer, Rakesh, etc., who reached the Mini Secretariat, told them that a mining operator had occupied Khasra number 47 of the panchayat land of their village, Dostpur. Heavy blasting is being done there for mining. People have alleged that illegal mining has been done on Khasra number 47 by the mining officer and mining inspector of the mining department for many years.
People say that this land has also been measured three times. But the mining officer and inspector postponed the matter on the pretext of a border dispute. Due to the blasting happening here, cracks have appeared in the nearby houses. Due to this, the lives of the people have become miserable.
It has been told in the memorandum that heavy blasting was done by the mining operator yesterday also. After this, cracks appeared in many houses. At the same time, the doors and windows of many houses were broken. Therefore, the administration should stop the illegal mining happening here. So that people can get relief.
