Youth arrested with illegal weapons in Hisar: 2 pistols and 13 cartridges recovered

Hisar district police have arrested a youth with illegal weapons from the bus stand of Ugalan village. The accused has been identified from Bishambar Nagar of Rohtak. Currently, he lives in Bhagat Singh Colony of Jind. The arrested accused is being interrogated by the police team.

According to the information, the team of Special Staff Hansi had received information from the informer. The informer said that a youth named Aman is present at the Ugalan bus stand with illegal weapons. Acting immediately on the information, the police team reached the spot. Seeing the police, the accused tried to run away, but the team caught him. During the search, two pistols and a country-made pistol were found from his bag.

The magazine of the first pistol had two live rounds, and the second had three. One live round was found in the country-made pistol. Apart from this, seven additional cartridges were also recovered. The accused could not show any license or valid document for the weapons. The police station has registered a case under the Arms Act. All the recovered weapons and cartridges have been sealed.
