Family accuses Faridabad hospital of negligence after young man dies post operation

Faridabad: 19-year-old Swastik, a resident of Sanjay Colony Sector 55 in Faridabad district of Haryana, died during the operation. According to Swastik’s family members, he drove himself to the hospital on Monday.

Swastik had a mild cold for the past few days, for which he was taking medicine from Dr. Rajiv Arya of Ballabhgarh. Dr. Arya had told the family that Swastik’s nose bone is enlarged, due to which he often has a cold. To cure this, Swastik’s nosebone will have to be operated.

After which, on Monday evening, Rajiv Arya operated on Swastik in Moringo Asia Hospital located in Sector 16. Swastik died during this. Now the family members say that if Swastik was fine in the morning, then how could he die in the evening.

The police have registered a case on the complaint of the family. But the family is demanding strict action against Rajiv Arya, who did the operation, and all those involved in the operation. According to the family, Swastik had taken the NEET exam this year itself. He wanted to become a doctor. For this, he had also planned to take coaching in Kota.

Uncle Bhuvaneshwar Hindustani said that until the police do not register an FIR against the accused doctor and his staff, they will not cremate the body.
