Bhiwani: Haryanvi singer Diler Kharkiya’s Range Rover was allegedly targeted in a firing incident outside his residence. The singer escaped unharmed in the incident. Following the attack, he informed the police, who reached the spot and launched an investigation. Police said the attacker arrived on a motorcycle.
Soon after the firing, a social media post uploaded in the name of Anil Pandit claimed responsibility for the attack. The post allegedly threatened the singer and named Himanshu Sonipat, Harry Boxer, Harman Sandhu and Anil Pandit as those responsible.
One Bullet Fired at Singer’s Car
According to police, a single shot was fired at Diler Kharkiya’s vehicle, which was parked outside his house. The bullet hit the car. Kharkiya was not inside the vehicle at the time and therefore remained safe.
Bhiwani Superintendent of Police Mayank Mishra said the incident took place at around 10:30 p.m. A man riding a motorcycle allegedly arrived outside the singer’s residence and fired at the parked vehicle.
Police teams reached the spot soon after receiving information and began investigating the incident. Efforts are underway to identify and trace the accused.
Social Media Post Claims Responsibility
A social media post uploaded shortly after the incident in the name of Anil Pandit claimed responsibility for the firing. Police are investigating the authenticity of the post and the claims made in it.
According to information emerging in connection with the case, Anil Pandit has previously been named in cases involving allegations of murder, extortion and attempt to murder.
In June 2026, firing was reported at 24HS Fitness Gym in West Delhi, which is associated with Punjabi singer and actor Guru Randhawa. A social media post in the name of Anil Pandit had also claimed responsibility for that incident. The alleged motive was linked to Randhawa’s association with actor Salman Khan.
Police Probe Anil Pandit’s Alleged Criminal Network
According to police, Anil Pandit is originally from Rair Kalan village in Panipat. He reportedly went to Dubai in 2022 for employment and later reached the United States through the so-called ‘donkey route’. Police sources have said that he subsequently came in contact with gangster Randeep Malik.
According to the information available in the case, the two initially became involved in the transport business before allegedly becoming associated with an organised crime network.
Police records reportedly show around 10 cases against Anil Pandit since 2024, including allegations related to murder, extortion and attempt to murder.
In September 2026, the Haryana STF reportedly proposed rewards of Rs 10 lakh each for four wanted gangsters, including Himanshu Bhau, Rohit Godara, Randeep Malik and Anil Pandit. Police are also investigating an alleged extortion demand made in Panipat in the name of Anil Pandit about a week ago.
Diler Kharkiya’s Background
Diler Kharkiya is a singer, actor and model associated with the Haryanvi entertainment industry. He is the son of renowned ragni artist Rajendra Kharkiya.
Inspired by his father, Diler began participating in ragni programmes at the age of nine. He entered the Haryanvi music industry in 2018 and has been associated with songs including “Leelo Chaman”, “Moto”, “Jutti Kaali”, “Highcourt”, “Kabootri” and “Aloo Matar”.
Police teams are continuing their investigation into the firing and efforts are underway to trace the person who allegedly carried out the attack.
