In connection with the Chester Hill case, the Deputy Commissioner has sought a report regarding properties located in areas other than Solan, Kasauli, and Parwanoo. To this end, the Deputy Commissioner has dispatched letters to all Tehsildars requesting the necessary information. If any Chester Hill properties have indeed been purchased in other locations, the Tehsildars are required to submit their reports within 15 days.

The letters addressed to the Tehsildars specifically request the submission of copies of the sale deeds. Should any such properties be identified, an investigation into them will also be initiated. However, according to the records currently available with the Deputy Commissioner, Chester Hill’s properties, aside from those in Solan, are situated in Kasauli and Parwanoo.

These properties are registered in the names of the agriculturist’s wife and his two sisters.

This information has already come to light through the report submitted by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Solan. The administration also suspects that builders may have acquired properties in other locations as well.

Meanwhile, Solan Deputy Commissioner Manmohan Sharma stated that reports have been sought from the Tehsildars to ascertain the exact locations of any other Chester Hill properties situated across the district. These reports have been requested within a timeframe of 15 days; should any properties be discovered in other locations, they too will be subjected to an investigation.
