Approximately 80 to 85 percent of the evaluation work for the Class 12 annual examination answer sheets of the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education has been completed.
The Board of School Education had released a schedule aiming to complete the evaluation process by April 22; however, due to a higher-than-anticipated number of holidays, the work could not be finished within the stipulated timeframe.
The Education Board had established 41 different evaluation centers across the state, where over 5,000 teachers are currently engaged in checking the answer sheets. According to sources, the only centers where evaluation work remains pending are those to which a particularly large volume of answer sheets had been dispatched for assessment.
Board Secretary Dr. Major Vishal Sharma stated that the evaluation process is currently in its final stages.
The Education Board is striving to declare the Class 12 examination results by April 30, a goal towards which both the Board’s staff and the teachers conducting the evaluations are working diligently.
