252 cases of Diarrhea reported in 4 Panchayats, Block medical officer takes stock of situation

Hamirpur: The health department has come into action after cases of diarrhea were reported in Chamned, Lamblu, Khaneu and Bafdi areas of Hamirpur district. Chief Medical Officer Dr. Agnihotri made the people of Gram Panchayat Lamblu aware of diarrhea.

On this occasion, Block Medical Officer Dr. Avnish Sharma, Block Health Teacher Kamal Mankotia were also present. Patients suffering from diarrhea are undergoing treatment at the Ayurvedic Health Center Lamblu. Dr. Agnihotri said that most of the patients registered so far are recovering.

The Chief Medical Officer also appealed to the public to drink boiled water and eat only fresh food and if there is even one case of diarrhea or vomiting, then immediately consult a doctor and do not delay in any way.

Let us tell you, today the Chief Medical Officer went to the Lamblu Health Center and took stock of the facilities as well as inquired about the condition of the patients.

He said that apart from making people aware, the teams of the Health Department called for taking special care of cleanliness. Also, in case of any problem, contact the nearest health worker, ASHA worker or if there is any kind of impurity in the water, contact the water department or other employees immediately.

The Chief Medical Officer said that cases of diarrhea have been reported in Lamblu Panchayat. He said that a total of 252 cases of diarrhea have been reported and 12 people are admitted in the hospital. The department has also collected water samples and its report will also come in a day or two. He said that all necessary steps have been taken for the convenience of the patients and all medicines have been made available in the health center.
