Amid uproar over Mosque Dispute Himachal Pradesh Congress Chief Pratibha Singh calls for PCC meeting

Shimla: Amid the uproar over the mosque dispute in Himachal Pradesh, Congress President Pratibha Singh has called a meeting of the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC). In this, a strategy will be made to improve the image of the Congress, which has been tarnished across the country due to the mosque dispute. Further efforts will be made to respond to the attacks of the opposition and to strengthen the organization.

Pratibha Singh has directed Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, Deputy CM Mukesh Agnihotri, all cabinet ministers, MLAs, PCC members, defeated candidates of the 2022 assembly elections and district presidents to attend this meeting.

There is doubt over Chief Minister Sukhu’s participation in the meeting due to health reasons, as he suddenly had a stomach ache at midnight last Friday. After this, he reached IGMC Shimla at 6 am on Saturday. In such a situation, everyone’s eyes will be on Sukhu’s presence in the meeting.

At the same time, the Deputy CM will also not be able to attend the meeting due to his visit to Jammu and Kashmir. Today’s meeting is going to be important in many ways. In this, a strategy will be made to respond to the public movement going on in the mosque case. The opposition is constantly attacking the Sukhu government over the economic condition of the state. A strategy will also be decided on how to respond to this.

The issue of ignoring party workers may be raised again in the PCC meeting. This meeting has been called at the party headquarters Rajiv Bhawan Shimla.
