Bilaspur News: Bilaspur district administration has decided to start parasailing activities to make the tourism experience more exciting in Govind Sagar Lake. A leading company of Delhi which is currently providing its services in Tehri. It has been invited for trial operations under this project.
This company will conduct parasailing activities in the lake for the next two months. At the same time, the district administration has provided all the necessary permissions for the project. The company will bring its parasailing boats to Bilaspur in the first week of December, after which the trial phase will begin. During this time, a technical committee will monitor the activities related to parasailing, after which the District Regulatory Committee will grant permission for permanent operation on the basis of the trial report.
It is worth noting that activities like cruise, Shikara and speed motorboat are already attracting tourists in Govind Sagar Lake. On the other hand, a month ago on 29 October, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu inaugurated water sports activities and adventure tourism in Govind Sagar Lake, after which tourists going to Kullu, Manali and Dharamshala are enjoying these boats.
Now, by including parasailing in these activities, the popularity of the lake will increase further and another chapter will be added to the water sports activities and adventure tourism going on in Govind Sagar Lake. Also, Bilaspur will emerge as the center point of water sports activities.
