Manali: The body of a person has been found in the Beas River in Gaushaal village of Manali. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and took it out with the help of the rescue team of the Adventure Tour Association.
DSP Manali KD Sharma said that the body has been identified as Panna Lal, son of the late Veenu Ram resident of the village Parsha post office, Archandi district, Kullu. The body was identified by his wife Mani Devi and son Pratap Chand. According to the police, Panna Lal had gone out of the house two days ago for some work.
DSP Manali KD Sharma said that information was received at the Manali police station that the body of a person was stuck in the Beas River between Gaushaal and Bahang. After which the police team reached the spot and took it out. He said that the body had been inspected closely. At present, the body has been kept in the mortuary, in Manali.
